SupaChat Marketplace (“SupaChat”, “we”, “us”) is operated by SupaChat Pty Ltd, registration number 2025/782745/07, Johannesburg, RSA. These terms apply when you use marketplace.supachat.global, the SupaChat AI Assistant and the Merchant Hub (together, the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.
SupaChat collects deals from South African online retailers in one place and helps you find them, compare them and plan a basket. We are not a party to any sale. We don’t sell, own, stock, price, ship, return or warrant any product listed on the Service.
When you tap “Buy”, we send you to the retailer’s website. Any order you place is a contract between you and that retailer alone, on the retailer’s terms.
The only valid prices are the ones on the retailers’ own websites. SupaChat does not guarantee that deals show their latest prices, discounts, promo codes, stock levels, delivery charges and deal end dates. These can change at any time on the retailers’ websites before we check them.
If something on SupaChat doesn’t match the retailer’s site, please tell us at info@supachat.global so we can correct it.
To keep deals current, we routinely visit retailers’ product pages with an automated checker that identifies itself as SupaChatDealCheck. It reads only public product pages, follows each site’s robots.txt instructions, and visits each retailer slowly, one page at a time. It updates prices and stock where a page shows them, and hides a deal once its page has been missing on two separate checks.
Some retailers’ pages can’t be read automatically. Deals from those retailers rely on the details the retailer supplied. Retailers who would like their deals checked differently, or not at all, can contact us at info@supachat.global.
Some listings are paid placements. We label them “Featured”. A Featured listing isn’t an endorsement and isn’t necessarily the cheapest option. Paid placement never changes a deal’s price, and our AI Assistant is instructed not to favour Featured deals over better matches.
We may earn a commission or referral fee from a retailer when you buy through a SupaChat link. This comes from the retailer and doesn’t change the price you pay.
The SupaChat AI Assistant is an automated chat assistant, not a person. It suggests deals and puts baskets together from the listings on SupaChat, and it only adds items to your basket when you ask it to.
The basket is a shopping list saved on your device. It isn’t an order and doesn’t reserve stock or lock in a price. Each item’s “Buy” button takes you to that retailer to check out.
Payment, delivery, returns, refunds, warranties, cancellations and complaints about a purchase are handled by the retailer you bought from, under their terms and policies. Your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 for that purchase are enforceable against the retailer. We’re happy to point you to the right contact.

Product names, descriptions, images and logos belong to the retailers and brands concerned. Product images are shown directly from the retailers’ own websites, and we don’t host copies. SupaChat’s own name, design and software belong to us. If you believe something on SupaChat infringes your rights, contact info@supachat.global and we’ll act promptly.
These terms also apply to retailers who list deals through the Merchant Hub or by sending us catalogue spreadsheets (“Partners”). Any separate partner agreement, including Featured placement fees, applies as well. If it conflicts with these terms, the separate agreement wins. By publishing deals, a Partner confirms that:
We may check Partner listings automatically (see section 4). We may correct, pause, hide or remove any listing that appears inaccurate, out of date, unavailable or unlawful, without notice. Partners are responsible for claims that arise from inaccurate or unlawful listings they supplied.
We don’t need an account to let you browse. To run and improve the Service, we record anonymous usage events, such as which deals are viewed, searched for and clicked, linked to a random ID stored on your device. We also process the messages you send to the AI Assistant (see section 6). Your basket, theme and chat history are stored on your device. We work to keep listings accurate, but we provide the Service “as is”. We don’t guarantee that any price, discount, stock level or detail is correct, current or available.
To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for:
Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act or other law that can’t lawfully be limited.
We may update these terms as the Service changes. We’ll change the effective date above, and for significant changes we’ll show a notice on the site. Using the Service after an update means you accept the updated terms.
